Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

At RugKnots, customer satisfaction is our top priority. If for any reason you are not completely happy with your purchase, you may return your rug within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We also provide free return shipping within the United States.

We cover the cost of shipping the rug back to our warehouse.
Refunds are issued to your original payment method once the return is inspected and approved.
To qualify for a return, your item must:
Be unused and in the same condition as when you received it.
Be in its original packaging or securely re-wrapped for safe shipping.
Include the original packing slip.
Important: We cannot accept returns that are:
Used, worn, washed, damaged, or altered.
Missing parts or packaging due to reasons not caused by RugKnots.
Returned without a valid Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
Sent back more than 30 days after receiving your RMA number.

Re-wrap your rug securely using one of the following:
Original packaging (with old labels removed or covered).
A sturdy plastic covering (shower liner, drop cloth, or similar).
Attach the return label to your package and drop it off at any FedEx location.
Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you via email.
If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your original payment method.
Refund processing times may vary depending on your bank or credit card provider.
If you haven’t received your refund:
Check your bank account again.
Contact your credit card company (posting times may vary).
Contact your bank for additional processing delays.

We currently do not offer product exchanges. If you’d like a different rug, simply return your item for a refund and place a new order.
We provide free FedEx return labels (U.S. only).
You are responsible for securely wrapping your rug for shipping. Unwrapped or poorly wrapped rugs cannot be shipped.
We do not offer pickup services at this time.
